And yes, it's a complete six-minute short; with Mickey, Minnie, and Mortimer captured by the nefarious Goat Man, who "keeps what he likes" and calls his kidnapped victims "stuff." One question about the end of the youtube video: Could you possibly tell me which House of Mouse episode the classic-looking Mickey clip in black and white comes from? Does the entire clip last longer?Mesterius1noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3253417957634046346.post-48096570453960355722009-06-23T14:33:29.025-04:002009-06-23T14:33:29.025-04:00I see I wasn't the only one that wanted to see...I see I wasn't the only one that wanted to see some sort of action adventures series based particurly on Floyd's work with Wayne.

Heck, I always wanted a CD that would come with a comic book and have the Disney voice cast renact the comics (I have no idea on who would do Fethry's voice).

We miss you, Wayne and thanks.Nic Kramernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3253417957634046346.post-74014523931322469302009-06-21T23:45:52.170-04:002009-06-21T23:45:52.170-04:00A truly excellent tribute to Wayne Allwine. Mickey's voice is so "stylized" that carrying emotions of the sorts needed to do an adventure tale would not be an easy task. Allwine most definitely was capable of it.

ChrisChris Barathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06845538037091279990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3253417957634046346.post-66367215713467481512009-06-20T06:51:10.667-04:002009-06-20T06:51:10.667-04:00David:

And don’t worry about being the “five-hundredth cartoon Blog to spread the news”, because, as always is the case with your Blog, you gave us something unique and wonderful!

Not surprisingly, we come from the same place on this. Here’s an excerpt from my Blog (perhaps the three-hundredth Blog to spread the news) on why Wayne Allwine was the best Mickey:

“Many of Wayne Allwine’s best performances as Mickey are, alas, not presently available on DVD as they occurred on the animated TV series MICKEY MOUSEWORKS and DISNEY’S HOUSE OF MOUSE of the last decade or so.

“The primary reason I prefer Allwine’s Mickey to that of longtime voice McDonald, and even that of Mr. Disney is that Allwine could best carry funny and more sophisticated dialogue – as seen in the television shows – and that is the way I would write Mickey.”

Thanks, especially, for the Phantom Blot segment! That, for me, really comes as close to the Mickey I’VE always wanted to see in animation – but never imagined I would!

Blots and Blogs… they go together!

Joe.Joe Torciviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00421096229407174474noreply@blogger.com
